So I've been on my spring break but besides technicalities, it hasn't really been a break. I've been writing papers and studying these past few days since I have a test and a few essays due when I get back, and so besides some extra sleep, I haven't really relaxed. That is, until today.
I woke up late and kind of forgot about my work for a day, going to play tennis for the around five hours. It's one of those sports that you can just keep playing because it's one of those stop-and-go sports, where you can actually catch your breath. If you enjoy playing, tennis can really take your mind off any worries you might have.
So how about all you guys? What do you like to do to really relax when you have a lot of stuff occupying your mind?
You ever play paddle tennis during the winter, its pretty fun and for me fills up a gap that i have in sports between XC and track
ReplyDeletelol one summer I had tried to learn tennis. Now I played badminton in high school so I was used to hitting really hard...yeah, didn't go over well:P

ReplyDeleteTennis is one of those sports where it's a lot harder than it looks. You can easily run out of breath in a long set.
ReplyDeleteFavorite thing to do if I want to relax is smoke some weed and watch Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii. Because, dude. But that's not always possible, so mostly I chill by taking a walk and listening to some music.

ReplyDeleteJust being myself, listening to some chilling rhythms in quiet... usually that takes the worst edge off the stress of modern world.
